DESCRIPTION
The New Old Luten Trio shows the front man of the saxophone avantgarde of East Germany: Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky in the state of late mastery. He celebrates his 75th birthday with two guys four generations younger than him. While activating the triadic instrumentation that became ingenious with Cecil Taylor in 1963, Elan Pauer and Christian Lillinger refresh the musical structuring with sax, piano and drums as the art of a dense interactive vitality that the Schlippenbach Trio once took from the New Yorker Free Jazz Movement and pushed it further with the passion of blues and the power of the whites' less tradition in jazz: abstract hit music with several races to the horizon; ultimate dynamism of melodies and rhythms.

Diese CD, wie wir da in einer heftigen, unglaublichen, strahlkräftigen Verstrickung über die Bühne toben!, im Sinne von Intensität, - ein wunderbares Gewächs!
